We have seen a significant boost in recent business clearly relating to concerns with Coronavirus/Covid-19. Obviously, the first advice is to follow government/NHS guidelines to avoid spreading of the virus, we cannot categorically state we’d remove this specific virus as there will never be any testing allowed during an outbreak with the relevant controls in place, but based on the other micro-organisms Air Steril have tested on they are be confident how our technology will perform.
With regard to Air steril and Coronavirus, please see this article by independent microbiologist Dr D Webber. (View article here)
Unfortunately there is a lot of misleading information with regard to Coronavirus (Covid-19), as we understand by far the best advice is to wash hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, only cough or sneeze into a tissue which is immediately disposed of, and try to avoid contact with people who are unwell. Our separate disinfection services may be more suitable in certain areas/ applications.
Please check the below NHS and PHE websites for additional/more detailed information:
Air Steril WRX
The Air Steril WRX can clear odours in large washrooms which experience 5000 or more visits a day. More powerful than the Air Steril standard washroom unit, it will operate effectively in enclosed spaces up to 80 sqm killing bacteria, viruses, mould and fungi in the atmosphere and on surfaces 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The advanced technology of the new Air Steril Washroom Thermal Unit allows the control of Bacteria, Viruses and Moulds both in the atmosphere and on surfaces very effectively. All of this is achieved without fans and with very low energy consumption. The custom designed Thermal convection system ensures that contaminated air processed through the unit is decontaminated in the purifying chamber. As the processed air leaves the unit, it becomes an efficient cleaning agent targeting pathogens both in the atmosphere and on surfaces.
The Air Steril unit you will need depends on several factors – size, footfall, air flow and usage peaks. To find out what unit is most suitable for your premises then please give us a call on 02920 868961 and speak to one of our specialist team.
